Washington Nationals Human Trafficking Awareness Night

Our luck with weather almost ran out today.  Thankfully, though, our luck only partially ran out.  We started the day with about half hour or more in the rain, at times heavy rain that was almost hail.  I was absolutely soaked and mentally exhausted after riding through it.  And so, I will only briefly recap the day and then post something from Polaris Project.

Nothing real special happened today except the rain.  Because of the rain we ran into quite a bit of mud.  At one point during Thomas's hour or so of riding I thought he hit quicksand with the way the bike sunk into the mud.  The mud was so dark and clean, too, I thought it was just part of the road.  Other than that, we had the opportunity to change behind some random building and hoped that no one would see.  Thomas was dry, but he had put on his swimsuit in case he had to ride through the rain, too, and he wanted to change out of it.  I was pure soaked.  Mmkae, recap over.

Polaris Project has been sending out e-mails about Human Trafficking Awareness Night at the Nationals game for tomorrow night.  I had been forgetting to let y'all know, but I won't forget again!  If you are in the D.C. area, check out the below.  And if you aren't in the D.C. area, perhaps think about writing to your favorite sports team to request that they put on an event similar to this.
